Welcome!

You sit, alone in the dark
Wondering whether you should switch on
The light.

It's been dark for so long you do not remember
What it feels like to feel the light on your skin
To be blinded by it's brightness
To just have the comfort of knowing
It exists.

In the end you decide
To switch it on
But it's so dark
You can't remember where the switch is.

You fumble around in the dark,
Searching, searching,
Until a friend points out its whereabouts.

So the light is now on.
And you sit in the corner with your back to it,
Wondering if it was the best thing to do

When you see it out of the corner of your eye
Flickering, flickering,

Until you can't take it any more.
You stand up, and you walk over to it
And you stare deep into the light.

It stops flickering and shines brightly
Brighter than before
It is warm and friendly
And you bask in its glow.

But before long you have to sit down again
You can see out of the corner of your eye
Yet again
Flickering, flickering.

And as you sit alone in the faint glow
You think...

"God. I wish someone would fix that bloody light."

Roll up, roll up! See the stupidest, worst made website in the world! If you are insane and like crazy poems about random topics such as pie, bananas and chicken chess, you have come to the right place.

If you actually like these poems please tell me so that I can faint with shock. If you want to know who I am, there is a nice *edited* pic on here somewhere.

P.S. Ignore the Tripod thing. I know it sucks.

What's New?

There are several new poems about, along with that pic of me and the epic poem, "Hapland". Be careful though, they may bite.
Before you ask, I have no excuse for the David Copperfield stuff. It was entertaining in English.

If you view this webpage beware of mutating lettuces.
